DRAFT FOR PROFESSIONAL REVIEW. This policy has been prepared to a production standard but has not yet been reviewed by a qualified data protection or legal adviser. It must be reviewed before the site is published at the production domain.

1. Who we are

The Intelligence Frontier is a trading brand of K-Dems Consulting Limited, a company registered in the United Kingdom. We are the data controller for personal data processed through this website and for personal data we process in delivering the SCOUT service. Contact us at ademola@k-demsconsulting.com.

2. Personal data we collect from you

  • Contact details you submit through our forms, including name, work email and company.
  • The content of your enquiry, including the ideal client information you choose to share.
  • Billing information processed by our payment providers. We do not receive or store card numbers.
  • Limited technical and usage data through privacy-conscious analytics.

3. Personal data we process in delivering SCOUT

SCOUT identifies named individuals in business roles at organisations that match a client's approved ideal client profile. This involves processing business contact data, which is personal data under UK GDPR.

  • We process business contact data only. We do not process consumer contact data.
  • Sources are licensed B2B data providers and publicly available information.
  • Our lawful basis is legitimate interests, namely business to business commercial communication that is relevant to the recipient's professional role. A legitimate interests assessment is held on file and available to data subjects on request.
  • Verification status is recorded against each record and disclosed to the client.

4. Why we process your data

  • To respond to enquiries and scope engagements.
  • To deliver contracted services and support.
  • To take payment and meet accounting and tax obligations.
  • To improve the website and understand which content is useful.

5. Sharing

We share personal data with processors who help us operate: our hosting provider, our payment providers, our email provider, our analytics provider and our data providers. We do not sell personal data. Where a processor is outside the UK, transfers rely on adequacy regulations or the International Data Transfer Agreement.

6. Retention

Enquiry data is retained for 24 months from last contact unless you ask us to delete it sooner. Client engagement records are retained for the duration of the engagement and for seven years afterwards where required for statutory accounting purposes. Prospect records held for client delivery are retained only for the life of that client engagement.

7. Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict and object to processing, and the right to data portability. You may object to processing carried out on a legitimate interests basis at any time, including any processing of your business contact details by SCOUT. Email ademola@k-demsconsulting.com and we will action the request across live deliveries. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

8. Security

The site is served over HTTPS with security headers applied. Access to client and prospect data is restricted to those who need it for delivery. Payment credentials are never stored on our systems.

9. Changes

We will update this page when our practices change and revise the date at the top.
