What is SCOUT?
SCOUT is a human-governed qualified pipeline intelligence engine. It identifies which accounts are worth pursuing, who matters inside them, why the opportunity fits, why now, and what evidence supports the decision. It is delivered by K-Dems Consulting Limited under The Intelligence Frontier brand.
How is SCOUT different from a contact database?
A database returns records that match a filter and leaves the qualification decision to you. SCOUT makes the qualification decision against criteria you have approved in advance, records the evidence behind it, and reports the accounts it rejected along with the reason. You receive reasoning, not just rows.
How are decision-makers identified?
Once an account is qualified, SCOUT maps the buying roles that own the problem, the budget and the decision. Individuals are identified from licensed B2B data sources and the public web, and every record carries its verification status. Where a name or title cannot be corroborated, it is delivered as unverified rather than asserted as fact.
How is contact data handled?
We supply business contact data only, sourced from licensed providers and the public web, processed on a legitimate interests basis under UK GDPR. We do not supply consumer data. Verification status travels with every record, and opt-out or erasure requests are actioned across live client deliveries.
What is a buying signal?
A publicly observable change in an organisation that raises the probability of a live need, such as senior hiring in a relevant function, a funding event, a market entry or a stated strategic priority. A signal raises probability. SCOUT reports it as an indicator, never as proof of intent.
What does human-governed AI mean?
It means an accountable person approves the qualification criteria before a run, reviews the output before it is delivered, and is answerable for what you receive. The system does the research at scale. A named human owns the decision at both ends.
How much does SCOUT cost?
The Pipeline Pilot is £1,250 one-time. Subscriptions are £1,500 per month for Starter, £2,750 per month for Growth, £5,500 per month for Scale, and from £10,000 per month for Enterprise. Onboarding is charged once in advance and ranges from £1,500 to £4,000, or from £7,500 for Enterprise. Annual prepay is eleven months at the monthly rate, so approximately one month free. Starter and Growth carry a three month minimum initial commitment and Scale a six month minimum. All prices are in GBP and exclusive of VAT where applicable.
How does onboarding work?
Onboarding is paid in advance and produces three approved artefacts: your ideal client profile, the qualification criteria and the disqualification standard. A calibration run follows in week two so the criteria can be tuned against real output. Steady state delivery begins from week three. Standard service delivery does not begin before the payment and onboarding gates are satisfied.
Do you guarantee meetings or revenue?
No. We qualify accounts and identify decision-makers on evidence. We do not control your proposition, your outreach or your sales conversations, and any provider that guarantees an outcome it does not control is selling you something else.
Can I cancel monthly?
Not from day one. Starter and Growth carry a minimum initial commitment of three months and Scale six months. After the minimum term a monthly subscription can be cancelled with 30 days written notice before the next billing date. Annual subscriptions run to the end of the prepaid term. Onboarding fees and the Pipeline Pilot are not refundable once work has begun. The full position is in the refund and cancellation policy.
Why is there a minimum initial commitment?
The first cycle is the most research-intensive part of the engagement. Onboarding produces the ICP, the qualification criteria and the disqualification standard, and the first run is calibrated against real output before the method settles. One month is not long enough to judge a qualification method fairly, so we ask for three months on Starter and Growth and six on Scale rather than pricing that risk into the monthly fee.
Why is there an onboarding fee?
Onboarding is real work done before any delivery exists. It produces three approved artefacts, your ideal client profile, the qualification criteria and the disqualification standard, followed by a calibration run that is reviewed with you. It is charged once, in advance, because it is front-loaded effort that cannot be recovered later if the engagement is short.
Why is the Pipeline Pilot paid?
Because it is a real engagement rather than a sample. The pilot runs SCOUT against your actual market with the same evidence discipline and human review as a subscription cycle, and produces a shortlist, decision-maker mapping, an evidence trail, a rejection summary and a written readout. A free trial would have to cut the research, which would tell you nothing useful about the method.
What is included in annual prepay?
Annual prepay is eleven months at the monthly rate paid in advance, which is approximately one month free. Starter is £16,500, Growth £30,250 and Scale £60,500 per year. The service is identical to monthly billing. Onboarding is charged separately and in advance. Enterprise annual terms are agreed commercially rather than applied automatically.
What happens if SCOUT finds fewer qualified opportunities than expected?
You are told, with the reason. A thin cycle usually means the criteria are too narrow, the market is smaller than assumed, or the evidence needed to qualify is not public. We report the shortfall and the disqualification pattern rather than padding the list with accounts that failed your own standard, and we recalibrate the criteria with you.
Are data-provider costs included?
Yes. Provider and research costs for the scope you have purchased are included in the subscription fee. If a request pushes materially beyond that scope, for example an additional ICP or an additional geography, we quote it separately in advance rather than absorbing it quietly or invoicing you afterwards.
Can I change plans?
Yes. Upgrades take effect from the next cycle and any difference in onboarding scope is quoted before work begins. Downgrades take effect at the end of the current minimum term or prepaid period, so that a cycle already in production is completed rather than abandoned.
Can I add another ICP or geography?
On Growth, an additional ICP or geography is an upgrade to Scale rather than an add-on, because it changes the research scope rather than the volume. On Scale, additional segments within the plan limits are included, and anything beyond them is scoped and quoted before it is run.
Is Enterprise available through self-service checkout?
No, deliberately. Enterprise covers bespoke qualification logic, data and integration requirements, CRM handoff, custom reporting, a security review and a named engagement lead. None of that can be sized from a pricing page, so Enterprise starts with a commercial call and a written scope.
How do I pay?
Stripe is the primary payment method and handles card details securely off this website. PayPal is available as an alternative, and invoicing can be arranged for Enterprise engagements. We never see or store your card number.
Which markets do you cover?
Coverage depends on data availability in your target geography, which we confirm during scoping rather than promising in advance. Where a market cannot be covered to our standard, we say so before you buy.
Build a pipeline you can defend
Tell us who you sell to. We will run SCOUT against your real market and show you the accounts worth pursuing, the people who matter inside them and the evidence behind every call.
